Bennett, brand consultant and principal of Bennett Peji Design, is a specialist in district branding and design. He serves as a Commissioner of Art & Culture for the City of San Diego, an Asian Business Association executive board member, a Public Art Committee member for National City, and an AIGA national board member. Besides being the first San Diegan to serve on the national design board, he co-founded the AIGA Center for Cross-cultural Design and is San Diego's first AIGA Fellow honoree. His firm, Bennett Peji Design, focuses on helping the revitalization of organizations, cities and cultures through district branding. Believing that form follows culture, Peji served as master plan consultant for the Filipino Village development in National City. He is leading the district branding projects for downtown Rancho Bernardo, downtown National City and the Asian Pacific Historic District in downtown San Diego. Peji is the recipient of the 2005 Arts, Business and Culture Award from the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the 2004 Outstanding Professional of the Year Award from the Filipino-American Chamber of Commerce and the 2004 Asian Heritage Award for Cultural Preservation from Asia Media. Besides business and community service awards, his firm has received over 200 national design awards. Peji is a co-founder and regent of the Baja California Missions Foundation, founded to renovate and preserve the historic missions in Mexico.

He resides in beautiful San Diego where he graduated from UCSD with a BS in Molecular Biology and met his wife. Joon enjoys the magicianship of Penn & Teller® and his major pet peeve is when folks speak on leadership when they haven't really led anything in their life.

Thus began Debra's adventure in digital media development. In 2003 Debra re-entered the entrepreneurial realm, developing and implementing Web 2.0 Internet marketing strategies for the small business community. Patricia Chavarria Perez- Techniques for investigating and resolving workplace disputes

Patricia C. Perez is founder and President of Puente Consulting, Inc. Ms. Perez is a legal expert in the areas of employment law and human resource management. A native Spanish speaker, she has worked in Mexico with judicial education programs, has trained thousands of HR, legal and other professionals, and has extensive work experience as an employment attorney and an HR executive. Ms. Perez is active in community and professional organizations, including the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) national and local chapters, the California State and San Diego County Bar Associations, the UCLA Alumni Association (she is a past member of its Board of Directors), San Diego MANA (she is an Advisory Board Member), and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Ms. Perez has been featured in numerous publications, including the San Diego Business Journal, and she has been a guest speaker on KPBS's "These Days." Ms. Perez won the 2007 Business Owner of the Year Award given by the NAWBO's San Diego chapter. She was also recently named one of San Diego Metropolitan Magazine's "40 under Forty" - an award given to the region's outstanding young business and civic leaders and he received a 2006 MIB Prism Award (the Cesar Chavez award) for community service. She will be a featured speaker at SHRM's 2006 Annual National Diversity Conference. Additionally, Ms. Perez has taught employment law at UCSD. She wrote Workplace Investigations: Seven Critical Steps to Success(TM) and has also written a chapter on workplace investigations for the 2007 edition of "Advising California Employers and Employees" published by the California State Bar's Continuing Education of the Bar(CEB).
